I am Lakasia Wood, owner/licensed esthetician, of Empress Beauty And Cosmetics LLC. My desire is to change the viewpoint of beauty. Why you may wonder? Everyone should feel beautiful inside and out. My motto is simply

The Journey of Empress started with a passion for doing makeup for a hair show at Nefetari's Performance and Event venue in 2009.  I attended Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University receiving my B.S. in Health Sciences. Then a few years after, North Florida Cosmetology Institution exposed me to the world of beauty where I gained my Full Specialist  license becoming a well known esthetician. I have done skincare workshops at NFCI and Florida State University as well as attended Women Forums in Tallahassee.
